An eight-week clinical study of a serum combining GHK-Cu with a ferment extract reported visible improvement in the appearance of lines alongside increased hydration and reduced moisture loss. 32 women enrolled; 30 completed. Open-label design with no control group — results reflect the combined formula, not GHK-Cu alone.

Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 (pal-KTTKS), studied at 3 ppm in a moisturizer over 12 weeks in a double-blind, vehicle-controlled, split-face trial of 93 women — compared against the same moisturizer without the peptide. Assessed by expert grading and instrumental image analysis; industry-authored; modest effect sizes.

The discovery behind the peptide
Early laboratory research identified KTTKS, a short peptide sequence that stimulated collagen and fibronectin production in cultured cells. This work helped establish the scientific foundation for later research on Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 in topical skincare.
This study examined cellular activity; it did not measure visible skin improvements in people.

Softer-looking wrinkles and a routine that feels easier on skin. A thoughtfully formulated cosmetic regimen delivered visible improvement with better tolerance in comparative research—bringing performance and comfort into the same daily ritual.

A randomized, blinded-grader study of 196 women compared a complete cosmetic regimen — containing niacinamide, peptides including pal-KTTKS, and retinyl propionate — with a prescription 0.02% tretinoin regimen. The cosmetic regimen improved wrinkle appearance significantly more at 8 weeks and matched the prescription at 24 weeks, with better tolerability reported through eight weeks. A smaller group continued to 24 weeks; results reflect the combined routine, not any single ingredient; manufacturer-funded.

Manufacturer-reported findings for SYN®-COLL CB (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5), a commercial peptide ingredient from dsm-firmenich. Supplier studies report improved skin firmness and texture within four weeks in subjects aged 40+, and a reduction in the look of pore size noticed by 60% of volunteers in a four-week self-assessment study at 2.5%. These are supplier-conducted studies of the ingredient under its tested conditions — they do not describe an AMINATIDE formula and do not indicate a selected supplier.

Instrumental 3D imaging documented improvement in wrinkle measurements; measured hydration and elasticity changes were not statistically significant. No control arm; brand-funded; results reflect the full serum, not Matrixyl 3000 alone.

Reported improvements in wrinkle appearance, elasticity and brightness using PRIMOS and ultrasound instrumentation. Author affiliations include commercial organizations; the published methods do not establish the concentration of each individual peptide.
